Sexual and Gender Based Violence Reduction Program

Project Officer, Internship 

World Hope International is a Christian international development and relief organization working with vulnerable and exploited communities to alleviate poverty, suffering and injustice.

WHI has been working in Cambodia for almost 10 years, focusing on social and economic development. WHI is currently implementing a program aimed at preventing violence against vulnerable people, primarily women and girls, and improving the quality of services provided to victims of violence. WHI’s economic development program focuses on developing alternative livelihoods and energy sources for rural communities affected by global warming.

We are looking for interns who are willing to commit a minimum of 4 months to be part of the Violence Reduction Program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The intern will support the team in project design, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and communications.

This opportunity is ideal for students who want to learn more about international development, particularly Sexual and Gender Based Violence, project implementation, and M&E, while working overseas in a diverse and multicultural team. The internship opportunity is unpaid. Students must be able to obtain course credit for the internship in order to be eligible.
