World Hope International Announces CEO Transition

Alexandria, Va. – Nov. 18, 2024 – World Hope International, a Christian international relief and development nonprofit, today accepted the resignation of CEO and President John Clause, the organization announced. Clause will continue serving as CEO during the search for a new leader, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of the organization’s critical work.

World Hope International is grateful for Clause’s leadership and service. During his tenure, Clause has contributed significantly to the organization’s mission of serving the most vulnerable children and their families.

“We are thankful for John’s dedication and contributions to our mission,” said Mike Chambers, chairman of the board of directors. “We appreciate his willingness to remain in the role during this transition period, ensuring that our programs and initiatives continue without interruption.”

The board of directors has initiated a comprehensive search for a new CEO and president. The organization remains steadfast in its mission to reflect Christ’s love through practical acts of compassion and development efforts that empower people and communities.
