John Clause is a veteran leader and fundraiser for non-profit philanthropic organizations. John served as Senior VP of Ministry Advancement at American Bible Society. He was also Vice President of Global Philanthropy at Children International where he oversaw all relational development work, gift planning, donor communications and strategic institutional partnerships. He directed World Vision’s fundraising efforts for the US as National VP of Development and personally chaired their first capital campaign. Other positions held include Senior VP of Ministry Advancement at Prison Fellowship International and as chief counsel in his own law practice specializing in real estate and business law.

Clause is a member of the Christian Leadership Alliance and has served on the advisory board of the National Council of Churches and the governing board of  MOVEMENT.ORG. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colgate University and his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University School of Law.
