World Hope International Promotes Nance to Global GIK Role
The move reflects WHI’s strategy to maximize efficiency and impact in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 31, 2024/WORLD HOPE INTERNATIONAL / World Hope International (WHI) selected Richeleau A. Nance for promotion to global director for GIK (gifts in kind), effective Jan. 1, 2025. He will continue serving as Liberia country coordinator.
The move reflects the humanitarian nonprofit’s new strategy to maximize its efficiency and impact in neighboring Liberia and Sierra Leone.
“Today, we are not WHI Liberia staff or WHI Sierra Leone staff,” said Talmage Payne, chief programs officer at World Hope International. “We are West Africa’s future. We will courageously ‘stretch our tent curtains wide’ (Isaiah 54:2).”
The West Africa strategy positions Grace Kargbo as regional leader-West Africa, effective immediately.
Nance, in his new role, will support Kargbo. He will oversee strategic planning and implementation of social protection, education, health, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programs that match in-kind donations to vulnerable children and their families.
Nance brings more than eight years in project development, operations management and program coordination. His education includes degrees in accounting, supply chain and logistics management, and public sector administration.
